It is a form of rejection that all students are supposed to get used to, for their own good. Grading is done by older people and is a form of social violence that mass coerced schooling uses on children and that has effects on us we do not yet fully understand. There are few studies and almost no children who have lived outside the grading regime except a few alternative school students and some homeschoolers.
