It is no wonder we keep getting into wars when we are conditioned as children to tolerate an authoritarian public school system. Even children in affluent and comfortable schools where everyone keeps their voices down will be lulled into acceptance of a value system inherent in forced education. Like waterboarding, it is also tremendously inefficient. It is no wonder that we easily accept soft fascism.
