school takeovers

Parents in Compton CA use Parent Trigger law, a law that limits the choices of parents to charter or status quo.  Parents are at least in the frame here but most parents are unduly overwhelmed at the thought of taking over a school; homeschoolers face this when they begin and it is a long journey many have walked.  Perhaps one days parents will take over a school and actually run it themselves or get to the point where the school boards and management are in the business of serving the citizens that pay their salaries.
