Home schooling is school reform. Home schooling is the major school reform effort underway. It is being done by all political and religious groups, it is done in many different ways, and it is working.
I characterize this activity as spontaneous decentralization, though others think of it in other ways: building strong families, respecting children, following their faith, helping children with positive and negative labels, countering institutionalized racism and sexism, learning freely, dealing with unemployment or health issues, and many more.
